Due to continued growth, we are recruiting for a Highways Engineer to join the Team.

As an integral part of the Highways Technology Team, this role will require site visits at various pre identified locations throughout the Highways network across the Luton/Milton Keynes area. The role will also require you being involved in the installation commissioning and maintenance of Temporary CCTV solutions for the Highways sector.

 

Key Experience Required:

• Roads and Highways experience essential.

• Working with and understanding method statements / works package plans.

• Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements on highways deployments.

• Background of Highway Technology such as MIDAS/CCTV/ERT’s etc.

• Supervising 3rd parties/sub-contractors.

• Knowledge of networking and IP

• Able to understand network drawings.

• Computer literate.

• Report writing.

• CSCS or ECS.

• SSSTS/SMSTS desirable.

• Positive & flexible attitude – willing and capable of dealing with issues and queries in a positive, clear and transparent manner.

• Punctual and reliable.

• Able to prioritise and manage own workload.

• Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written.

• Computer literate, with good knowledge of Microsoft Office.

• A full UK driving licence (minor points considered).
